Born in São Paulo - Brazil, Ray Morgado has been working as a DJ since the year 2000 in Brighton, East Sussex (South of England).
As most of Brazilians, Ray Morgado has an eclectic taste for music, from Samba to Rock his musical Background is influenced by Brazilian and International artists such as New Order, Depeche Mode, Zaap, Raul Seixas, Mutantes, Gilberto Gil, The Cure, Front 242, Jorge Benjor, Chico Science, Michael Jackson, U2, ACDC, Queen, Dire Straits, Fatboy Slim, Mobi, Tom Ze, DJ Marky and many others who would make this list much bigger.
His DJ style can be defined as a hot latin spicy electronic mashup of the best music in the globe mixed with Brazilian Flavours with pop elements from the Western Culture all blended in a final musical pleasurable experience full of his passion for life and for making people partying all night through!

Gil Mahadeva produces alternative electronic music... Gil Mahadeva moved through several musical phases before hitting his stride as an e-music producer. .. Brazil-born Gil began taking trombone lessons in 1981, guitar and piano in 1995, was the leader and played with an electro-industrial band over the rest of the 90’s. .. When the 2000’s arrived, Gil became interested in e-music like trance, chill out and electro, and from there began experimenting with electronic means of sound production, sound track and djing... Since then Gil played at most of the important parties and festivals of the Brazilian trance circuit such as Trancendence, Tranceformation, Ypy Poty, EarthDance, Daime Tribe, Klatu, Universo Paralelo, Ceara Music, megAvonts, Orion, Tribe, Solaris and many others….. Exclusive soundtrack production of prized Brazilian movie O INVASOR, released nationwide in March 2002... In 2004 he took part of the BOOM Festival as Mukunga Umbura Live Act and in 2006 djing at Ambient Village. .. At the dance floor, Gil likes to experiment new sounds and tendencies playing tracks that he swaps with many of his friends as well as the music supplied by the labels his is in touch. .. His groovy set is made of different styles like nu jazz, nu funk, broken beat, tribal, ambient journey. .. The major characteristic of his set is the diversity easily adapted to the place and public that he plays for...
